Bridal Portraits, Innis Woods

Last weekend I had the privilege to be the second shooter for the good folks at Yellow Plum Studios. I always love working with them; things are laid back and on schedule & Evan is always experimenting with new things. While Evan went with the menfolk, I had a good hour (unheard of), with the bride and her maids at Innis Woods Park in Columbus. The stormy day, no doubt, made everyone a bit nervous, but Evan & I couldn't have been more pleased with the overcast skies. Shooting with cloud coverage is like placing a giant soft-box over your subject in the out of doors so that they're lit like model - and what bride doesn't want that on their wedding day? Well Hope would have been stunning in any lighting situation, but I was giddy about this one. Things were just blooming at Innis Woods & that girl ventured around the muddy park in her high heels like it was no thing. I adore her soft look & her dress was perfect for this environment. Doesn't she look like a Greek goddess? Simply gorgeous, Hope.
