Last winter I got a message from Molly wondering if I'd be interested in working with she and Brandon to document their budding vintage clothing line. Um, interested? I believe my super awkward response was something like "all I hear is how cool you guys are, of course I want to work with you!" Professionalism at it's finest.
The rumors were true - they're super cool. I've come to know them not only as dear friends, but as hard working entrepreneurs and business owners; they modeled for our summer inspiration shoot that was featured in Utterly Engaged last year, and then I had the privilege of photographing their gorgeous wedding last fall. Not only do they have a passion for all things creative and collaborative, these two have such a neat vision of what they want their vintage brand to be - I couldn't think of a better pair to more successfully pull this off.
They've partnered with Paul & Amy Hamilton of Skipping Rock Farm to open a little pop-up shop in downtown Bexley, Ohio, and are currently working on the finishing touches of their killer website. Their vintage lifestyle brand consists of fabulous, hand-picked clothing articles and accessories and a few screen-printed pieces that are designed and printed in shop.
This is the first installment of our photo shoot together - we met to photograph some of their favorite items for their website at their home studio. Check back soon for the lifestyle shoot we did in 20 degree [perfect] snowy weather!
The pop-up shop is open Tuesday - Saturday 10-5 and features a good portion of their collection along with some really fantastic hats created by Amy Hamilton. Details can be found on their Mighty Hand facebook page.
