CAMP | TN 2013
Last November I had the pleasure of attending and photographing CAMP TN : the creative brain-child of Keely Beasley and Lisa Garner. I knew the gals from my time in West Tennessee and thanks to social media have kept up with each one and their respective creative pursuits. Both two of the most beautiful ladies inside and out -- welcoming and inspiring. They began planning CAMP early in 2013 and the entire weekend was packed with hearty delicious meals, warm fires and sweet fellowship. It was their desire to create an environment that encouraged women to rest and create. I did both and left the gathering feeling inspired and refreshed both emotionally and creatively.
We bunked at a cozy cabin in West Tennessee where the nights were chilly enough to cuddle up and the afternoons warm enough to play outside.
Our CAMP activities included four methods :
indigo dye, leather working, image transfers and rope weaving.
Lisa + Keely made everything. From the welcome bags to the elaborate suppers to the camp stools we all got to take home. These two are for real, y'all.
You can see Lisa's beautiful indigo work and get some for yourse at her shop Garner Blue
CAMP was so legit that it included badge ceremonies after every activity!
What a treat to be a part of the first CAMP TN. Can't wait to see what these gals do next. xo
