Since we started working together in 2012, Ashely and I have found that two heads are better than one. Meeting regularly and creating side-by-side has done wonders for our respective crafts, providing the second pair of eyes and fresh criticism that is often lost in the jump from art school to freelancing. Collaborating has also provided the opportunity to pursue work that we're truly interested in -- pushing our creative boundaries and thinking outside of our normal produce-produce-produce routine. That's when our single-topic nature journal STUDY was born. It's the culmination of an aesthetic we truly enjoy and wanted more of. Our second volume is available now and below is an outtake from my photo essay for The Sea Issue.
