fall mini sessions | in home and beach sessions

while my internal calendar is stuck back in may sometime... i've come to accept that mini-session season is upon us! and so i've blocked off saturday, october 14th, offering a few in-home sessions in the morning and a handful of beach sessions that evening. details below - they're already half full so grab 'em while the gettin's hot.

WHEN : Saturday, October 14th

WHAT YOU GET : 30 minute lifestyle session. you get a personal online image gallery and a code to download the hi-res digital negatives. a half hour of laughs and a lifetime of memories.

WHERE : 
Option One : yo' house. within the walls where you love, chase, laugh, cry, teach, fight and makeup - images like this. There will be 4 of these available 8-11am. travel fee outside of los angeles
Option Two : Late afternoon at Pointe Dume Beach in Malibu. images like this. There will be 4 of these available 4-6pm.

WHY : because your babies are only this little once. because one day they'll ask "what was I like when I was four?" because you've made enough excuses. because you have three children now but have only documented the first one. because you look great and need to be in the photos for once. let me know if you need more reasons. 
HOW MUCH : $350 cool ones

motherhood | a portrait series

this is my one of a kind gal pal ashley. we met back in ohio after several mutual friends insisted we get together and i love thinking of our first semi-awkward coffee date, filling each other in on our respective creative endeavors. it was an enjoyable and sweet conversation, we left with the possibility of shooting together but didn't think much of it. fast forward five years : our first shared studio, three kids, countless shared meals, two cross-country moves, a creative collective, our own magazine and i've found in her one of the dearest and most genuine friends a gal could have. she is creative, honest, sassy, caring and a killer cook. she can make anyone feel welcome and her sense of aesthetic is out of this world. she is so generous with her time whether it be to snuggle a baby, drop off a warm quiche or help you work through a creative block. so naturally ashley was my test subject for the portraits i wanted to offer my mama friends for mother's day. a round of those hot mamas coming soon but first, ashley. 
needless to say, she killed it.

and baby makes four | silver lake maternity session

oh boy oh boy these guys are something else. talented designers, expert curators and parents extraordinaire. photographing families over time has got to be one of the best parts of my job. i shot molly + brandon's intimate wedding back in 2011 and then molly pregnant, james turning one and now as they were awaiting baby boy number 2! (he's arrived, healthy and delicious!) besides excellent hair and superb style, these parents are passing down so much love and sincerity to these little men and l.a. will be better for it. also, come on with those tiny squishy butt cheeks, right?!
