Adam was one of Ben's college room mates back at our dear alma mater, Union University. It's impossible to be around the two of them and keep a straight face. Christa lived in the dorm room across from me and we got to know each other one summer when we both worked at Winshape Camps - she as a lifeguard and I as a pottery instructor. Her love for life is contagious the minute you meet her. I knew and loved Adam and Christa individually and when I heard they were dating, I couldn't think of a better fit (and yes, I made that quite clear when their relationship status changed on facebook). They're both fun loving, athletic, spontaneous, genuine people - the instant you meet them, you want to know them better. Ben joined me for the afternoon which was a blast - he had no trouble keeping Adam & Christa cracking up during the entire shoot. [Photos of Ben's assistantship to come]. Once again the weatherman overshot his prediction by about 20 degrees but that didn't stop this couple from wanting to jump into the fa-reeezing water. I couldn't believe it. I was wimping out in my 5 layers of clothing and gloves while they were walking around in flip flops. Just as we decided on a place to jump in, though, the park was closing for the night - thankfully we were able to meet again the following day with some sunshine this time. Fifty degrees is still pretty cold for a leisurely dip in the pond, if you ask me. Their reactions were absolutely priceless.
Thank you Adam & Christa for spending your afternoons with us. We couldn't have had a better time and I cannot wait for your vineyard wedding in June; you two are fabulous together!
