Taylor and Gabriel had each other laughing the entire session. These two have so much going on in their busy lives right now (moving into a new house, owning and maintaining a business, writing grants... as if planning a wedding wasn't enough), but when they're together, it's obvious that they are able to relax and simply enjoy one another. We went to a local quarry - the location of their first date - and then spent some time on Grandview Avenue, a strip full of their favorite eateries: The Grandview Cafe, Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream and Stauf's Coffee. We had such a great time; so looking forward to your Spring wedding!

Kate & Brett Lifestyle[d] Love Shoot

I think it's obvious why I immediately liked Kate the moment I met her - but if her strawberry locks and freckled complexion wasn't enough to win me over, her super sweet personality would have in no time. And wait until you watch this video of Brett's proposal - you'll instantly like him, too. He's pretty head over heels for Kate and they make a fabulous pair. The two love spending time together outdoors running, biking, sailing, and seeing movies - Up and Despicable Me two of their favorites. Brett is a sailing instructor (thus the sweet proposal hookup), so we spent some time in the hot sun at the Hoover Sailing Club in Westerville and then headed over to Studio 35 where I forced them to drink warm Coke... All styled by the fabulous Nichole R., of course. The photo of the boat in the first set is the one on which they were engaged - it just happened to sail on by while we were there. Dear Catherine S. let us borrow her bike at the last minute and those sweet stripey straws are from Jack & Lulu - check out the rest of their adorable collection! I had a blast with them and can't wait to celebrate their marriage later this summer!

Gypsea Girl, St. John, USVI

While in St. John visiting Ben's parents, we hooked up with their friend Mindy who has recently launched a charter business for visitors and locals alike. We spent the day on her boat, Gypsea Girl, taking photos for her new website -- my first time to shoot on a boat -- it took some serious balance concentration. Mindy brought the Dingy along so that we could get some photos of her boat from the ocean, which was such a great idea. It was so neat to see the islands from the ocean; we had such a great time getting to know Mindy, her sister, Misty, and their friend Jason. Ben and Papa Glass, along with the others, were the Gypsea Girl's models for the day. Mindy has such a great personality and saw that our entire experience was fun and relaxing. And the boat is amazing! The sea was a bit rough while we were out, but Gypsea rode so smooth. She's got a fabulous spot up front for sun lounging and a wonderful canopy that pulls out when you need some shade. Mindy & the Gypsea Girl are a perfect combination for a fun day out on the water! The Gypsea Girl is available for island tours, snorkeling destinations, hiking trips, you name it. Mindy & her husband, along with their little boy, have lived on a sailboat in the Caribbean for 11 years now, so she knows her way around and the best spots!
