I keep sitting on images because I want to write a beautiful detailed description of the day to accompany each feature. but alas, my words (and extra time) are few and far between these days so you'll have to let the images speak for themselves (which is kind of my job anyway, right?). full of handmade, intentional details, a picnic lunch and a walk through the forest with all their guests, Linda + Kagan had one of my favorites weddings of all time. a ceramicist and a woodworker, it only makes sense that these two would have a dreamy brunch wedding among the redwoods of sequoia national park. so much goodness, such delicious light, beauty everywhere.
intimate brunch wedding | shaker village kentucky
who's got two thumbs, two kids, too much coffee and finally getting around to blogging weddings from last fall? thiiiiis gal. but blog i must because this sweet pair is too good to keep to myself. two of my favorite folks saying "i do" and celebrating with my favorite meal : brunch.
when we lived in ohio i would pine for the bright light i'd see flooding into the images of my west coast colleagues but last fall as i pulled up to the picturesque shaker village farm in kentucky i found myself drooling over the raindrops and moody light that welcomed me. beth + matt exchanged vows in the presence of their family and closest friends. the farm, the details, the spirit of the day all reflected the intentional, loving and warm hearts of the couple - such an honor to be a part of this celebration, thank you friends. here's to many more wonderful years together. xo
