I keep sitting on images because I want to write a beautiful detailed description of the day to accompany each feature. but alas, my words (and extra time) are few and far between these days so you'll have to let the images speak for themselves (which is kind of my job anyway, right?). full of handmade, intentional details, a picnic lunch and a walk through the forest with all their guests, Linda + Kagan had one of my favorites weddings of all time. a ceramicist and a woodworker, it only makes sense that these two would have a dreamy brunch wedding among the redwoods of sequoia national park. so much goodness, such delicious light, beauty everywhere.
louis + melody are two wildly creative folks (melody is an extraordinary violin player and louis a videographer for musicians and weddings) and one super cute couple. we met up one hot and humid day for their engagement session at the gorgeous los angeles arboretum (sassy peacocks included) and props to them for putting up with an hour of me saying "can you stand in/around/behind this plant?"
carmen + delphin were married at the gorgeous santa fe springs clark estate just a short drive from los angeles. the old spanish setting was ideal for their intimate celebration -- which included some pretty great california donuts and some of the loveliest bridesmaid dresses i've come across yet (that sparkle is legit.)
