Ryan & Lauren's German Village E-Session

These two little blonde-bombshells had me cracking up during the entire session. Ryan and Lauren braved the high winds of last weekend as we explored  the ever-lovely German Village of Columbus, starting in Schiller Park and then wandering through the streets to Pistacia Vera. Along the way we were invited to use a super cute backyard filled with grapevines; German Village's quiet streets are full of fantastic backdrops and tasty treats. It was a perfect little evening filled with fabulous light, yummy treats and their contagious spirit of content love and fun personalities - can't wait for your wedding, Ryan and Lauren!

Mary & Patrick's Akron Enagegment Session

My conversation with Mary began while Ben and I were in Italy; when she ended one email with "eat some gelato for me," I knew we would be friends. She and her fiance, Patrick, are Akron natives and have known each other since middle school. In classic adolescent genius, Mary traded lockers with a friend which landed her conveniently close to the cute upperclassman with killer blue eyes. (Does this scream The Wonder Years to anyone else? And also, they both have killer blue eyes.) The rest is high school sweet heart history. After getting to know Mary and Patrick, I met with stylist-extraordinaire, Nichole R. who provided us with a great inspiration board which provided Mary with some direction as she scouted locations for our Akron engagement session. And while I'm pretty sure there were a thousand other things that Patrick would have rather been doing (he did admit that this was preferable to a shopping day at Easton - score one for Lily), I think he was pretty content to be with his stunning fiance in that fabulous dress. Thanks for soaking up that delicious evening light with me, Mary and Patrick - can't wait for next June!

Brittany & Matt's Downtown Engagement Session

Brittany and Matt grew up in the same small Ohio town, went to the same high school and attended the same pumpkin festival for years. Their paths crossed every now and then but it wasn't until Matt was on leave from the air force that mutual friends took some initiative and arranged for the two to actually spend time together. These two are so laid back and fun; they made each other laugh throughout the entire photo shoot as we made our way to several of their favorite downtown Columbus spots in the eighty-five degree October weather... troopers. So looking forward to your wedding next fall, Brittany and Matt!
