Taylor + Gabriel Lifestyle[d] Engagement Session

Taylor and Gabriel had each other laughing the entire session. These two have so much going on in their busy lives right now (moving into a new house, owning and maintaining a business, writing grants... as if planning a wedding wasn't enough), but when they're together, it's obvious that they are able to relax and simply enjoy one another. We went to a local quarry - the location of their first date - and then spent some time on Grandview Avenue, a strip full of their favorite eateries: The Grandview Cafe, Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream and Stauf's Coffee. We had such a great time; so looking forward to your Spring wedding!

Molly + Brandon, Ohio Farm Wedding

I can't even begin to tell you how wonderful this day was. Molly and Brandon are two of the most genuine, creative people we know and we couldn't have been more excited to photograph their beautiful wedding. (You might recognize them as they were kind enough to be our model-couple for the inspiration shoot that was just published in Utterly Engaged!) Ben came along to do some second-shooting, but also took some fantastic 8mm footage that I can't wait to share with you! They were married on the breathtaking Skipping Rock Farm in Granville, Ohio, owned by husband and wife artist-power-couple, Paul and Amy. The barn where the reception was held is Paul's personal painting studio which sits just below Amy's fabulous little millinery workshop. The day was full of excitement and joy and at times bittersweet as Molly and her sister Caitlin often remembered their mother who recently passed away. So thoughtful, her mother had written Molly a letter to be read on her wedding day, knowing she wouldn't be able to celebrate with her beautiful daughter in person. The necklace that Molly wore was made from her mother's engagement ring - it was so touching to witness the bond that was shared between Molly, her sister and their father that day.

Molly and Brandon met each other before the ceremony which allowed them some special alone time in the middle of the busy day, and, based on Brandon's reaction as his bride walked down the aisle toward him, I'd venture to say that their first-look didn't spoil a thing. Guests cuddled up on hay bales as Molly and Brandon exchanged vows and then celebrated their new union with good food, tender toasts, wedding day mad-lib's and dancing. We are so honored to have been a part of your wonderful celebration, M&B, and couldn't be happier for you!

Love this moment of Molly with her father and sister, soaking up the gorgeous music before the processional.
