los angeles holiday mini sessions

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 1ST

Los Angeles, it's time for some mini sessions! I'll be trying something a little different this year and I'm excited about the options.

Option 1 | DTLA STUDIO
From 10-2pm I'll be shooting at the lovely Moon & Co. in DTLA. These sessions will be 20 minutes and offer a really clean, classic but still beautiful and candid portraiture. Edited images will be added to an online image gallery from which professional prints can be ordered and you'll have the opportunity to mark your 15 favorite images and receive those as hi-res digital downloads. It's a beautiful, naturally lit warehouse with several great backdrop options we'll take advantage of and the final images will look a bit more editorial in style. examples below. $200 + tax due at time of the shoot

Option 2 | AT HOME SESSION
During the afternoon 3-7pm, I'll be offering a handful of 30 minute at-home mini sessions (must be located within los angeles county), for those that feel more comfortable shooting in their home. Edited images will be added to an online image gallery from which professional prints can be ordered and you'll have the opportunity to mark your 20 favorite images and receive those as hi-res digital downloads. These will incorporate your home environment and feel a bit more personal - afraid of shooting in your home? read this. examples below. $255 + tax at time of the shoot.

the mcguires | in home family portrait session pasadena

this mama is one of the best around. so genuine, so lovely inside and out. her kindness will melt you into a puddle and your four year old will covet her "elsa braid" every time you run into her. this little family of three (soon to be four!) welcomed me into their warm and musical home and gave a peek into their daily life. it's an intimidating thing, opening your home and giving free reign to someone else to document every nook and cranny. i never take for granted the trust that my clients give me as i step into their personal, safe space. christie expressed her hesitations about shooting in their home but as her husband's job will move them to oregon soon, she recognized the desire to document their time here in california as a family, to record the little spot they brought their newborn baby to. and i'm so glad they did. thank you for sharing this tender season of life with me, mcguires. xo
