Danielle & Justin's Sweet Tennessee Wedding

Danielle & Justin are the kinds of people that you meet and then cross your fingers that they'll like you. Super cute, super athletic, way laid-back and totally in love. They were married in Cookeville, Tennessee, which offered us some pretty fabulous photo backgrounds before their ceremony. Scott Brown, the owner of Thomas Andrew's, even invited us into the restaurant's beautiful back yard and bar area as he prepared for the day's rush. Justin pretty much just stared at his beautiful bride all day as she giggled her way through it; they truly relaxed and were able to fully enjoy every minute of their wedding day. Danielle's shoes (which were fantastic!), wore a tiny antique cross pin that belonged to her grandmother. And I am obsessed with her choice of wildflower bouquets! And the guys' suspenders. And bow-ties. And Chacos. Following their beautiful ceremony, they danced the night away with family and friends at Nick's Restaurant.

This last one captured what has to be some of the best expressions I've ever seen during the bouquet toss. Thanks for allowing me to be part of your wedding day, Justin & Danielle - here's to many years of adventure ahead!

Amy & Andy

I met Amy Glass at a commercial studio here in Columbus - she's a crazy good retoucher and master of all things photoshop - and it just took one conversation to realize that no, we're not related. Shortly after we met and shared lots of tasty meals together, her older brother, Andy, proposed to his long time girlfriend, Amy. That's right, in a few months there would be another Amy Glass. I know, it's confusing. So last weekend, I, Lily Glass, friend of Amy Glass, photographed her brother Andy's wedding to a new Amy Glass -- no relation. Confusing surnames aside, it was a great wedding and a beautiful day. The couple married on the Glass family farm in Richmond, Indiana, and there was a constant breeze and lots of lemonade to keep all the guests comfortable outside. The two are definitely in love and so comfortable around one another - it was a joy to photograph their friendship and their new marriage. Best of luck to you two; thanks for letting me be a part of your fabulous day!

Kate & Brett Lifestyle[d] Love Shoot

I think it's obvious why I immediately liked Kate the moment I met her - but if her strawberry locks and freckled complexion wasn't enough to win me over, her super sweet personality would have in no time. And wait until you watch this video of Brett's proposal - you'll instantly like him, too. He's pretty head over heels for Kate and they make a fabulous pair. The two love spending time together outdoors running, biking, sailing, and seeing movies - Up and Despicable Me two of their favorites. Brett is a sailing instructor (thus the sweet proposal hookup), so we spent some time in the hot sun at the Hoover Sailing Club in Westerville and then headed over to Studio 35 where I forced them to drink warm Coke... All styled by the fabulous Nichole R., of course. The photo of the boat in the first set is the one on which they were engaged - it just happened to sail on by while we were there. Dear Catherine S. let us borrow her bike at the last minute and those sweet stripey straws are from Jack & Lulu - check out the rest of their adorable collection! I had a blast with them and can't wait to celebrate their marriage later this summer!
